About Phyllis

Phyllis is a Canadian author and writer from Uxbridge, Ontario.

Her first novel, Isla’s Chance, available on Amazon, was well-received, and a second book is underway.

In addition to the novel, her personal high points are being long-listed (30/2400 entries) in the prestigious CBC Canada Writes short story competition, and making it to the third and final round (160/2500) in the NYC Midnight rhyming story competition.

Her stories and poetry are also included in books, such as Anthology: From a Cottage Porch, The Writing Spiral, Twelve Stories High, a publication of the Canadian Authors Association, and If This House Could Talk: A History of Henry House.

    This morning on church zoom we learned from Ben of his grandma’s death last night.
    My thoughts were immediately with your family; your dad and your sisters and families.
